For college students, contact with law enforcement can lead to simultaneous criminal prosecution and proceedings with the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution in Peabody Hall at the University of Florida.  The most common offenses that lead to a disciplinary proceeding at The University of Florida or other colleges include:

  • Violations of the Student Conduct Code

  • Violations of the Student Honor Code

  • Disorderly conduct

  • Underage Possession of Alcohol

  • Possession of Marijuana

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI)

  • Possession of a fake ID

  • Assault

  • Shoplifting

  • Sexual Battery / Assault

  • Rape

  • Plagiarism

  • Cheating
